Directions
We recommend that everyone fly, and the destination airport to go to is Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). Check Kayak/Orbitz/Travelocity/etc to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Ca’s Xorc, in Sóller, is a 40 minute drive from the PMI airport. To get there you can catch a taxi, reserve an airport shuttle, or take a scenic historic train ride through the mountains.

CAR RENTALS
Car rentals on the island is fairly inexpensive. We've done some quick research and you can find them for around $20-$30 / day. Sóller is accessible by car and there should be parking at hotels.
Train
The Ferrocarril de Sóller is a 100 year-old train originally built to support the lemon and orange trade on the island. It starts in the plains, then winds through the mountains to Sóller, taking 1 1/4 hours. To take it, catch a taxi (15 minutes) or the 1 bus (30 minutes) to Estació Intermodal (the Palma train station), and catch the train to Sóller. From there, a tram is available from the same company to connect to Port de Sóller. The train costs 15 Euros to Sóller, 21 Euros to return.
